Now we were not going to do a Red Sea trip in 2018 but got offered a deal for a liveaboard safari that we simply could not say no to.
Why you may wonder? Well, I received a call from the travel agent to say they’ve had a cancellation for a trip in July and if we take over the booking we can get it at a really good price. That’s when I started listening and pencils were soon being sharpened. The result of the meetings was that YOU can now go to the Red Sea for 10 days at a price that was last seen in 2014.
Yes folks, YOU are the ones that benefit from this and get to experience the Red Sea at a price that you will find nowhere else, that is MY promise to you !
So, here’s the breakdown:
We have been doing Red Sea trips for 10 years now and have tweaked what we do when, so that it is without a doubt the best itinerary you will find out there.
We fly out on Friday evening, arrive in Cairo to connect to Sharm, and from there check into our 5* full board hotel for one night. “Permissions” to set sail gets done for you while you are sipping cocktails in the pool and shopping up a storm in the old and new markets. After a night in your humongous bed, you are whisked away by bus to the harbour where we board the ship and set sail for 7 glorious days of diving.
Now here’s some more of the good news, diving is unlimited, you can literally dive as many times a day as you want, there are obvious limitations as to what is possible in a day, so usually the average diver does about 24 dives during our safari. The better news is that Nitrox is included for this trip, for free, mahala, you don’t have to pay for it. During the 6 night 7 day stay on the boat you will experience diving Ras Muhamad National park, the fabulous reefs on the Gulf of Aquaba, experience the history of the world famous Thistlegorm wreck to name but one (there are many wrecks to be explored if we want to). I say if we want to because we get to choose where the boat takes us, if we enjoy a particular site we can stay there longer, if you want to go see something unique, we steer our trusty steed into that direction and go and see it. This boat is there for us to take where we want, when we want, for as long as we want.
After the weeks diving we eventually get off the boat and check back into our 5* hotel and usually end up in the pool with cocktails again. When night falls and it cools down we can amble the streets of Sharm’s markets or go to one of the many restaurants on the prominade for dinner. After spending the night we fly back to Cairo and connect to JHB to arrive here 07:00 on Monday morning the 6th of August.
Now, you may wonder “what this lot is going to cost me”? Well guys and gals that is the truly good news, we have managed to get this trip for only R16950pps. I gaurantee that you will NOT see THIS itinerary at THIS price anywhere else. This is without a doubt the best priced Red Sea safari you can get your hands on.
What does it include:
• Return flights from JHB to Sharm El Sheikh
• 2 Nights in a 5* hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, one night before we set sail and one night after, full board
• 6 nights on board the M/Y Brina, full board except for alcoholic beverages (we’ll chat about that later)
• Unlimited diving and Nitrox fills
• All transfers
What’s not included:
• Airport taxes (currently estimated at R3400)
• Staff gratuities and service fee (EURO 100 payable in cash to me prior to departure)
• Gear rental
• Half day in Cairo to see the Pyramids
• Possible additional add-on to Dahab if anyone’s keen
Guys and gals, if the Red Sea has been on your to do list, THIS is the year to go, you will NEVER see a Red Sea trip priced at this rate again, and I can assure you a fantastic time will be had by all !!! The average saving per person on THIS trip is about R6000.
To book your place (and a few of them have already been booked), please send us an email to confirm you are in, then pay your R2000 non-refundable deposit and your spot is booked. We will collect small amounts monthly and the balance of the trip is payable 30 days prior to departure.
